Linear Compressor 2014–2020 — A Special Case
Between 2018 and 2020, a class action lawsuit was filed against LG in the US over mass failures of the Linear Compressor in 2014–2017 models. LG was required to repair or replace affected units.
If you have an LG from that era and it lost cooling:
