Common LG error codes, what they mean, and how to fix them
LG's Flow Sense is reporting the exhaust duct is 80%, 90%, or 95% blocked. This is a fire hazard and will burn out the heating element. Fix: Professional duct cleaning with a 30-ft auger. Don't just reset the code — the blockage will remain.
Temperature sensor has failed — LG can't control the heat cycle and shuts down to protect itself. Fix: Thermistor replacement from $80 + part.
Sensor Dry moisture sensor failure — dryer cuts the cycle short, thinking clothes are dry when they're not. Fix: Clean the sensor bars (fabric softener residue coats them) or replace the sensor.
Wrong voltage (nP), wiring error (PS), or power failure (PF). Fix: Check the outlet (electric dryers need 240V — both breakers must be on) and the power cord.
