Why is my Frigidaire making tiny, hollow ice cubes?
Small cubes usually mean low water pressure — most often a clogged PureSource water filter past its 6-month life. If a new filter doesn't fix it, the inlet valve itself has partially failed.
The ice is stuck solid in the tray — can I pry it out?
We don't recommend it: the tray has a Teflon-coated interior that scratches easily, and once scratched ice sticks permanently. If ice won't eject on its own, the ejector heater or gears have failed — replacing the module is the right fix.
