I wiped up the water but the puddle came back the next day
Classic clogged defrost drain. The fridge runs an auto-defrost cycle 1–2 times a day; the melt water should flow down the drain tube into the drip pan. With a frozen tube it overflows into the cabinet instead — drying only treats the symptom.
Water is dripping from the door dispenser
A drop or two after dispensing is normal (air in the line). But a steady thin stream that won't stop means the inlet valve at the rear isn't fully closing — that needs replacement before water reaches the floor.
Can I clear the drain myself with a wire?
