Can I clear the error code myself?
Sometimes — unplug the fridge for 30 seconds and plug it back in. For E11 (display module) a power cycle often clears it. For E01/E02/E24 a reset usually doesn't help, because the underlying hardware fault remains.

Do Thermador and Bosch use the same error codes?
Largely yes — BSH uses a shared E-code system. Thermador adds a few codes for premium features (ice maker module, TFT display), but the diagnostic approach is identical across both brands.
